1 large cauliflower head (wash, trim off leaves and bottom of stem) himalayan salt black pepper your favorite hummus - I used a homemade garlicky hummus your favorite fresh herbs - I used rosemary and garlic 1. preheat oven to 400F (or don't) 2. place cauliflower stem-down on cutting board and cut in half straight down the middle. Cut each half in half again, you should end up with a total of 4 steaks - don't sweat it if you don't, it just depends on the size of the cauliflower head you are using. Set aside the florets for cauliflower popcorn or another use. 3. sprinkle salt and pepper onto one side of the cauliflower steak and lay salt/pepper-side down on a lined baking sheet 4. spread hummus on top of each cauliflower and top with fresh herbs 5. bake until hummus begins to lightly brown - about 30 minutes (if you want to keep it raw, just skip this step) 6. serve with your favorite grain and veggie combo 7. munch!
