You can never experience love until you love yourself! I believe the key to loving yourself is participating in your health by preparing a majority of your own meals. Ideally these meals are created with the intent to nourish your body and prepared with a positive mindset and some upbeat tunes (singing and dancing is even better!!). When we value the importance of what we put into our bodies we enable ourselves to transcend to a new level of awareness.
My name is Elyse and I am a Raw Vegan Cheffy. I supply my community with specialty raw foods and unCooking classes. I am here to serve conscious palates and share sensational recipes that heal and awaken. Through my uncooking classes I have had the opportunity to meet all kinds of foodies, some devoted to raw vegan lifestyle and others just curious souls seeking healthier options. We come from different places but end up in the same kitchen. Food unites us all, it is the universal white dove. It can also be our poison or our medicine. This is the ultimate decision that we make when we choose whether or not to participate in our health.
When we say yes to participating in a healthy lifestyle and begin the practice of incorporating more and more of the good stuff, this amazing thing happens... love. It begins in the kitchen, when we start practicing making our own food and even in the most simplest act of food preparation, like squeezing a lemon into some water, we make the connection. The beauty of raw cuisine is the integrity of life force (enzymes, phytonutrients, chlorophyll, electrolytes, antioxidants, vitamins, proteins etc.) . Slicing an avocado and really massaging it into fresh greens evokes youthful playfulness and raises us to a celestial vibration!
True love is possible when we begin to love ourselves and respect what goes in (and comes out) of our mouths. There is a beautiful river inside of us and when we nourish our cellular environment it rewards us with vitality, longevity and boundless love. It doesn’t happen overnight. It begins with practicing gratitude, positive thinking, and taking the time to nurture your palate.

Super Kale Saladhere is the receipe for the super easy super yummy super awesome SUPER KALE SALAD!! This salad is rich in phytonutrients, healthy fats, protein and trace minerals.
1 head o' kale
1 ripe avocado
1/3 C unrefined Flax Oil
2 Tbl Bragg's Liquid Aminos/Nama Shoyu/Tamari
1/2 C Nutritional Yeast
2 Tbl garlic powder
1 Tbl chili powder
1/4 C Pumpkin Seeds
1/4 C Hemp Seeds
1. Wash Kale and remove leaves from stem - place stems aside for juicing or composting. Break leaves into bite size pieces using hands or kitchen scissor
2. Massage Kale with Avocado, Flax, and Aminos followed by remaining ingredients until well incorporated.
Caution: Super Kale Salad is more filling then expected, so share it with your friends!
